We recently held my father's wake at The Harp as many moons ago, when known as the Lions Head, it had been his local. Thanks to Theresa, Tony and Bridget the event was a fitting send off. They couldn't have been more helpful in arranging lovely catering and were so attentive to the needs of all in attendance. The Harp has a warm and friendly feel recalling the best pubs from days gone by while appearing fresh and well kept. Thank you to all of the staff and all the best for the future of your very fine establishment.

If you after a true traditional family run pub this is the place to come. I came across this beautiful pub through a friend of mine. The welcome I received not just by the owners but the customers was something I could only dream of. I had booked in for four nights but decided to stay one more night as I didn't want to leave. The pub was spotlessly clean aswell as the rooms upstairs. Didn't struggle with parking whilst I stayed theres a town within walking distance aswell as little shops for essentials. Plenty of events throughout the week. I never met a more welcoming pub than this one many thanks to the owners and bar staff.

Lovely traditional pub with friendly staff. Has nice clean accommodation all en-suite. Roast dinners served on a Sunday which are nice and tasty, decent value. Pub is dog friendly and kids are welcome until 7pm. Highly recommend this place.
